The Foundation was established to carry on Chef Scott's love for cooking. As an award winning culinary artist, Chef Scott was passionate about helping others in the kitchen. Whether it was teaching his favorite niece how to bake an apple pie or judging cooking competitions around the state, Chef Scott always showed an interest in the development of those interested in the craft.
By partnering with leading educational institutions throughout Michigan, we are offering financial support to students dedicated to pursuing a high-quality culinary eduction, shaping the chefs of tomorrow.

The Scott W. Storbeck CEC® Memorial Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Michigan as a qualified 501(c) (3) charitable non-profit organization. That means any financial donation, or support you provide to the Foundation is tax deductible pursuant to tax laws and regulations (this is not tax advice) - in other words, it's a win-win!
At the Foundation, we embrace Rule #6: 'Take what you do seriously, but don't take yourself seriously.' While we don't have rules #1-5, this guiding principle ensures that our events are always fun-filled.
Through inclusive and innovative fundraising programming, we aim to keep you engaged, meeting new people, and having FUN - all for a great cause!
